Maksudnya disini kita harus memiliki keyakinan yang kuat bahwa al-Qur an dapat menyembuhkan penyakit baik itu jasmani maupun rohani. Syaikhul Islam Ibnul Qayyim rahimahullah dalam kitabnya Zadul Ma'ad mengatakan: "Al-Qur an adalah penyembuh yang sempurna dari seluruh penyakit hati dan jasmani, demikian pula penyakit dunia dan akhirat. Dan tidaklah setiap orang diberi keahlian dan taufiq untuk menjadikannya sebagai obat. Jika seorang yang sakit konsisten berobat dengannya dan meletakkan pada sakitnya dengan penuh kejujuran dan keimanan, penerimaan yang sempurna, keyakinan yang kokoh, dan menyempurnakan syaratnya, niscaya penyakit apapun tidak akan mampu menghadapinya selama-lamanya".

Those of us in the West have access to doctors and medicine, to traditional healing, medical breakthroughs and alternative cures but many lives are full of emotional pain and listlessness. What is missing is belief, faith in God.
