PEMASARAN EMPATI STRATEGI KEBERLANJUTAN SOCIAL ENTERPRISE

Pada dasarnya Indonesia telah membuktikan bahwa peran sektor ketiga yaitu melalui munculnya Sosial Enterprise. Social Enterprise ini muncul dari inisiatif yang bertujuan untuk merespons berbagai masalah sosial, termasuk pengangguran masal, defisit besar anggaran publik dan ketakutan nasional disintegrasi, yang disebabkan oleh krisis keuangan 1998. Bahkan, Social Enterprise dan banyak lagi khususnya model kooperatif telah memainkan peran penting dalam beberapa dekade terakhir di Indonesia (Chaniago, 1979; Baswir, 2010). Konstitusi Indonesia menggarisbawahi fakta bahwa ekonomi mengharuskan untuk mengadopsi prinsip-prinsip koperasi dan konsep Social Enterprise yang muncul telah menarik perhatian sektor ketiga Indonesia. Social Enterprise atau wirausaha sosial adalah sebuah organisasi atau perusahaan yang menggunakan strategi komersial untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan finansial, sosial, dan lingkungan untuk profit sekaligus dampak baik bagi setiap elemen yang terlibat di dalam usahanya. Ada lima elemen yang perlu hadir dalam sebuah social enterprise. (1) misi atau dampak sosial, (2) pemberdayaan, (3) Prinsip bisnis yang etis, (4) reinvestasi dana untuk misi social, (5) kesinambungan Terlepas dari kenyataan bahwa empati sebagian bergantung pada pemrosesan informasi dari bawah ke atas, yang otomatis dan tidak sadar, kita tidak selalu bereaksi terhadap orang lain secara empati dalam pengertian konvensional dari istilah itu. Massa komunikasi dan kondisi kehidupan perkotaan membuat kita menyaksikan kesusahan dan kesulitan orang lain setiap hari. Namun, kita tidak selalu merespons dengan cara prososial. Ini tampaknya berlawanan dengan intuisi untuk berbohong konsepsi yang menganggap empati sebagai respons otomatis yang harus dipromosikan tanpa batasan.
