You can successfully develop your higher education research profile while balancing the demands of training teachers and administration. While teacher education is key to preparing qualified teachers who can educate pupils for the demands of the twenty-first century, many university-based teacher educators experience conflicting demands in their professional practice. Their lives are often so dominated by teaching and associated work that their aspirations to develop a research profile are hampered. This text explores the critical issues faced by those working in teacher education and how they have negotiated the expectations and requirements of the Academy to establish themselves as leading international teacher education researchers. Through a series of autobiographical cases, this book demonstrates a range of trajectories in different contexts which have facilitated the development of teacher educators' successful research profiles. Understandings and realities of the policy context, the professional context, the research context (including funding, metrics, type of research valued), the institutional context and various personal positionings are examined in order to illuminate stories of research success and demonstrate their relevance to all teacher educators.

Minat baca dikalangan masyarakat semakin berkurang seiring berjalannya waktu. Dilihat dari lingkungan sekitar yang semakin sibuk dengan adanya gadget terutama dikalangan anak-anak, akhirnya mengantarkan penulis untuk melakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di salah satu sekolah dasar yang berada di Belakang Padang. Literasi merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan berpikir seseorang dari menyimak, berbicara dan membaca. Kegiatan literasi pada dasarnya bisa dilakukan di manapun hal ini di dukung dengan teknologi yang semakin berkembang dan media buku bacaan yang semakin luas. Untuk menarik minat baca siswa diperlukan hal-hal yang dapat membuat siswa menjadi senang untuk membaca, salah satunya dengan diadakannya pojok baca di kelas yang memudahkan siswa untuk membaca buku. This report characterizes the decade 1985-1995 as a series of false starts in reform of teacher education in the United States. The main purpose of the report is to raise the question of whether the next decade of reform will be any different. Chapter 1 presents the problem: the need to do something about teacher education is reaching crisis proportions, and so much of the education reform agenda depends on a quality teaching force operating under professional working conditions. Chapter 2 uses the Holmes Group (a national consortium of nearly 100 research universities across the United States that has pushed for teacher education reform from 1985-1995) as a case illustration of some of the possibilities and difficulties of accomplishing significant improvements. The Holmes Group case analysis helps identify key issues that need to be addressed. Chapter 3 looks ahead to 2006 by taking stock of the recent convergence of high profile plans of action, questioning whether this will be another cycle of "rise and stall" or whether there is enough knowledge and care to make the required core improvements. Although this topic receives broad media attention, the presented strategic CRM issues are very fuzzy. Attracted by the enormous revenue potential, there is a vast of CRM experts giving tips on the CRM strategies, which results in a very unclear and even contrary coverage of this subject. The companies feel that they need CRM, but as soon as they try to find out what that is and how could it be beneficial for their business, they get very diverse and vague answers. This work will seek to provide a consistent picture of CRM strategy and the underlying technology The focus of this paper is to offer a critical analysis of different strategic CRM concepts and integrate them into one CRM framework. As CRM is made possible by the technology developments, the understanding of opportunities provided by the underlying technology is necessary. Therefore the center of attention will be in the explanation of the interaction between the customer oriented strategy and the enabling technology. In order to uncover the essence of CRM, this paper will provide a look at the roots of CRM. It will explain the theoretical background of CRM and the new market challenges, which have been pushing the development of the CRM concept. Also the relationship between the customer satisfaction and the customer profitability must be evaluated, as satisfied customers is one of the main intentions of CRM.
