Setiap hikmah yang ada di buku ini merupakan refleksi pemikiran dan juga ekspresi rasa keprihatinan penulis terhadap kondisi bangsa Indonesia yang nyaris tercabik-cabik akibat keserakahan dan ambisi kekuasaan sekelompok orang yang terlibat dalam kontestasi politik dalam pemilu 2019.
