Agaknya tidak berlebihan bahwa semakin lama dijalankan dan di ajarkan negara hukum, semakin kita sadari akan kekurangannya, yakni: negara hukum yang bagaimanakah? Corak negara hukum apa yang yang hendak dikembangkan? Konsep negara hukum yang manakah yang layak dan sebaiknya dianut dan dijalankan oleh suatu negara? Apakah ada konsep atau model negara hukum dan syarat-syarat apa sajakah yang seharusnya dimilik oleh suatu negara hukum? Bukankah semua negara menamakan dirinya adalah negara hukum, oleh sebab semua negara dijalankan berdasarkan ketentuan dan pembatasan- pembatasan yang telah dibuat oleh rakyat negara yang bersangkutan? Adakah suatu model dan bentuk atau corak negara hukum yang merupakan “standard” negara hukum, ataukah negara hukum itu tergantung kepada sistem politik-hukum dan tata budaya dan kebiasaan yang berlaku dan yang dipandang patut oleh negara bersangkutan?1 Setidaknya hal ini haruslah sudah terjawab di tengah-tengah perkembangan hukum tata negara saat ini.

This book offers a guide to both theory and practice of blended learning, offering rigorous research, case studies, and methods for the assessment of educational effectiveness. The contributors to this volume adopt a range of approaches to blended learning and different models of implementation and offer guidelines for both researchers and instructors, considering such issues as research design and data collection. In these courses, instructors addressed problems they had noted in traditional classrooms, attempting to enhance student engagement, include more active learning strategies, approximate real-world problem solving, and reach non-majors. The volume offers a cross-section of approaches from one institution, Georgia Tech, to provide both depth and breadth.
