Buku Qowaid At-Tafsir: Qa'idah-Qa'idah Tafsir Al-Quran ini merupakan terjemah dari disertasi Abdur Rokhim Hasan yang berjudul "Qawaid at-tafsir li asy-Syaikh Khalid bin Utsman as-Sabt, Dirasah Naqdiyyah wa Nazhariyyah wa Manhajiyyah". Buku ini berisi 14 kaidah tafsir yang membedakan dengan kaidah-kaidah yang selama ini yang masih tumpang tindih dan belum sistematis. Beberapa kaidah tafsir yang ditulis para ulama sebelumnya, termasuk Syekh Khalid bin Utsman as-Sabt, lebih tepat disebut sebagai kaidah qur'aniyyah, bukan kaidah tafsir. Sebagian yang lain juga lebih tepat dikategorikan sebagai kaidah fiqhiyyah, bahkan sebagai fawa'id dan lathaif.

At the time of original publication, special education in Britain was permeated by an ideology of benevolent humanitarianism and this is ostensibly the moral framework within which the professionals – teachers, educational psychologists, medical officers – operate. The author widens the debate about special education by introducing sociological perspectives and considering the structural relationships that are produced both within the system and in the wider society when part of a mass education system develops separately, as 'special' rather than normal. She outlines the origin and development of special education, stressing the conflicts involved and the role played by vested interests, and criticizes the current rhetoric of 'special needs'. Among the issues and dilemmas that she identifies, the problems of selection, assessment, integration and the curriculum for special schools are discussed in details, and the position of parents, pupils and teachers within the system is examined. The author gives particular attention in a separate chapter to the problems and position of ethnic minorities.

The first part of this book is designed to display the sources and principles of economics and trade transactions in the Islamic community. It analyzes the judicial injunctions against riba and proves that riba including interest is prohibited. Basing the argument on theoretical (Quran and Sunna) as well as the customary practice during the life of the messenger of God in Mekka and Al-Madina. Notably, the Islamic teachings covers both the worldly and religious affairs. This is a very revealing indication that “Islam” does not only regulate the relations of the human beings with God, but also extends to regulating (i) the relationship of the ruler with the ruled through “al-shura”, and (ii) economic and financial transactions in the market. Notable among these transactions: a) the abolition of riba and instigating interest-free economy, (b) providing the basic needs of society, (c) achieving social justice by applying zakat levy and other ordinances, and last but not least inheritance law and redistribution of State land for public benefits. The second and third part of the book explains and proves that prohibition of riba does not circumvent trade or paralyze the economy. On the contrary by eliminating injustice inherent in riba, the banking system will be liberated from discrepancies and the economy will perform more efficiently by mitigating the evils of riba.

Buku “Desain Struktur Kayu dengan Metode LRFD” adalah buku yang membahas tentang perencanaan struktur kayu yang mengacu pada peraturan Spesifikasi Desain untuk Konstruksi Kayu sesuai SNI 7973:2013. Konsep perencanaan yang digunakan dalam buku ini adalah metode Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) yang sangat populer digunakan dalam desain struktur dewasa ini. Buku ini ditulis untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Struktur Kayu yang merupakan mata kuliah wajib pada program studi Teknik Sipil. Pada Bab I, buku ini berisi tentang penggunaan material kayu sebagai konstruksi struktur bangunan, yang dilanjutkan dengan pembahasan sifat-sifat mekanik kayu pada Bab II yang juga mencakup tegangan karakteristik kayu. Pada Bab III mulai diuraikan tentang dasar-dasar bagaimana merencanakan struktur kayu menggunakan konsep Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD), serta dijelaskan tentang faktor-faktor koreksi dalam desain struktur kayu. Dengan memahami konsep dasar perencanaan tersebut, selanjutnya dibahas tentang aplikasi desain terhadap gaya-gaya yang bekerja pada elemen struktur kayu. Dimulai dari Bab IV yang membahas tentang desain struktur batang tarik, lalu diikuti oleh pembahasan desain struktur batang tekan pada Bab V. Pada Bab VI diuraikan tentang penjelasan perencanaan struktur batang lentur yang berisi tentang desain batang lentur, desain batang geser, dan pemeriksaan terhadap lendutan. Bab VII berisi tentang pembahasan struktur yang menerima kombinasi gaya aksial dan lentur. Akhir pembahasan ditutup dengan uraian tentang desain sambungan mekanik pada struktur kayu di Bab VIII.
