Comparison between the innovative systems of Germany and France

The research of today leads to innovations of tomorrow. Mainly, every item we use in daily life emerged from research which scientists have done once. This paper gives an overview of the innovative systems of Germany and France. The main features such as scientific research, funding, link to foreign institutes, commercial orientation of research centres, labour mobility as well as the venture capital system and the national technology policy will be described briefly for each of the above mentioned countries. Additionally, there is a comparison between these features in Germany and France.

Factors that Influences the Performance of Islamic Banking in Aceh

The objectives of this paper are to find out: (1) the influence of client relationship and marketing mix to marketing performance (2) the influence of client relationship and marketing mix to the performance of Islamic banking in Aceh (3) the influence of marketing performance to the performance of Islamic banking in Aceh (4) how much is the influence of client relationship and marketing mix to the performance of Islamic banking in Aceh mediated by marketing performance. This research was conducted in a number of Islamic banking offices in Aceh, with respondents of 600 clients. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with random sampling method. The results show that the client relationship and marketing mix are simultaneously and partially effect on the marketing performance of Islamic banking in Aceh, client relationship and marketing mix are simultaneously and partially effect on the performance of Islamic banking in Aceh, the marketing performance is effect on the performance of Islamic banking in Aceh, these prove that marketing performances will directly affect the increasing of the performance of Islamic banking in Aceh where client relationship and marketing mix also effect on that performance which is mediated by marketing performance.

International Criminal Law exists within a political space. It’s a ship in an ocean filled with storms of supremacy battles, power games, sovereignty conversations, self-interests and a lot more of political tides. This paper seeks to analyse how safely the ICL ship sails in the fierce waters. It seeks to see how the tides have affected the stability of the ship. Will the ICL vessel safely get to dock or is it faced with a risk of shipwreck? The article concludes that there is indeed a danger of the ship being overthrown by the fierce waters and gives a recommendation to rescue the ship by adopting a definition of state sovereignty to the effect that all are above the law but bound by the law. This will make the objective of International Criminal Law realizable and deliver it from the fate of ineffectualness.

To be able to do this, it is expedient that the following issues are addressed: What is Customary International Law? What are rules of customary international law? Contrary state behavior. Customary International Law is one of the major sources of International law and is described in Article 38(1)(b) of the Statute of the International Court of Justice, 1946, as "general practice accepted as law." According to the Legal Information Institute of the Cornell Law School, "Customary international law refers to international obligations arising from established international practices, as opposed to obligations arising from formal written conventions and treaties. Customary international law results from a general and consistent practice of states that they follow from a sense of legal obligation." It was also defined by Judge Read in Fisheries (UK v Norway) (1951), as the generalization of the practice of States.

ABSTRACT: For the question at hand – a very complex question – it seems of paramount importance to disentangle its individual components before discovering its coherences. (...) I shall proceed as follows: First, I will present my understanding of logic – the underlying current giving this paper its direction and drive. Still in the first part, I shall introduce and define various forms of large-scale violence to be kept inside the epistemological frame of this essay. Secondly, this paper will elaborate on ‘the doer behind the deed’. I shall introduce the philosophical traditions and formal features of contemporary states, laying the ground for the contemplation of violence by and against states, government-sponsored and stateperpetrated crime. Furthermore, to shed light on the ramifications of violence between the so called First and Third World and in order to provide a link between the general and the specific, this paper would expose the international involvement in criminal structures and violent agency. Drawing on the recurrent narratives and forms of violence discussed in the first two parts, the third section will deepen the dynamics of structures and resources that resurface in various contexts of large scale violence. The chosen examples will deal with the ambivalence of legal control and discursive power in their capacity as supportive features to instigate violence. This essay will conclude on contemplations which elude from a smooth narrative. In my conclusion I should summarize the main arguments and outline the implications resulting from the supposition of a logic of violence. The final part shall also provide an outlook to some of the many remaining challenges in the context of international human rights and supranational criminology and their pursuit to stop violence.

Menurut Djamal Tukimin, penulis sambilan tidak lengkap membicarakan mengenai sejarah drama moden Melayu tanpa memperkatakan karya-karya Shaharom Husain. Shaharom Husain merupakan seorang penulis novel, drama dan biografi yang dilahirkan pada 4 November 1919 di Batu Pahat, Johor dan terkenal di Singapura dan Malaysia untuk novel sejarah dan drama beliau. Beliau juga merupakan ahli sejarah yang paling terkenal di Johor dan Tokoh Guru Negara pada tahun 1984 (Anugerah tertinggi bagi pendidik / guru), pernah merancang untuk menjadikan rumahnya sebagai muzium kerana tidak mahu sejarah hanya menjadi sejarah.
