Kenapa harus menamakan buku ini “filsafat”, karena isinya lebih dominan berupa essay-essay filsafat. Kenapa tidak menamakannya akhlak bukan karakater, karena istilah akhlak lebih umum yang mencakup etika, moral, adab, dan juga karakter. Selain itu, kata akhlak adalah khas nomenklatur Islam. Filsafat Pendidikan Akhlak dalam buku ini berupaya berteori secara filosofis tentang pendidikan akhlak. Buku ini juga tetap memperhatikan teori-teori terapan karena pendidikan akhlak haruslah bersifat aplikatif. Salah satu bab dari buku ini lebih banyak membahas tentang ilmu pendidikan akhlak. Walaupun buku Filsafat Pendidikan Akhlak, tidak berarti absen membahas Ilmu Pendidikan Akhlak. Ketika Ilmu Pendidikan Akhlak dikemukakan, tujuannya untuk membantu memahami Filsafat Pendidikan Akhlak.

The importance of the rule of law is universally recognised and of fundamental value for most societies. Establishing and promoting the rule of law in the Muslim world, particularly in the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia, has become a pressing but complicated issue. These states have Muslim majority populations, and the religion of Islam has an important role in the traditional structures of their societies. While the Muslim world is taking gradual steps towards the establishment of rule of law systems, most Muslim majority countries may not yet have effective legal systems with independent judiciaries, which would allow the state and institutions to be controlled by an effective rule of law system. One important aspect of the rule of law is freedom of expression. Given the sensitivity of Muslim societies in relation to their sacred beliefs, freedom of expression, as an international human rights issue, has raised some controversial cases. This book, drawing on both International and Islamic Law, explores the rule of law, and freedom of expression and its practical application in the Muslim world.

Het uitgangspunt van dit boek is dat Chinese individuen van hun eigen inzet uit moeten kunnen gaan, ongeacht de beperkingen die hen door de staat worden opgelegd. Om hun belangen beter te kunnen verdedigen sluiten sommige individuen zich aan bij sociale bewegingen, die tot sociale protesten kunnen leiden.

The current Syrian crisis has its roots in the sectarian nature of the country's multi-religious society. Since Ottoman times, the different religious communities have enjoyed the right to regulate and administer their own family relations.
